Overview
The objective of the education activities of the 100 Black Men of Madison is to empower students to reach their potential by lowering truancy rates, raising graduation rates, and exposing students to real-life learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

Given the desired outcome for our youth, we recognize the similarities shared by education and mentoring and strongly believe the two go hand-in-hand. Therefore, the programs we offer to students not only emphasize surrounding each student with a supportive group of adults, but also providing the resources necessary for our youth to succeed inside and outside their academic setting.

An annual celebration of the mentees, educators and mentors who have demonstrated an extraordinary sense of humility and a strong commitment to continual improvement, based upon a fundamental motivation to inspire student success.
