Getting the community Ready.
On August 13, hundreds of Dane County elementary and middle school students were invited to the Goodman South Campus of Madison College to receive a backpack with brand new school supplies for each student.

Fortunately, over 513 backpacks full school were supplied on Friday 12 August to strategic organizations that focus on service to homeless and housing insecure families and another 487 on Saturday at the drive thru event.
In addition to the backpack provided Saturday, families could receive vaccinations and registered to vote without getting out of their cars.

Drive through, Stay safe.
To prioritize the health and safety of everyone participating, the 2022 Back To School Celebration provided support to families by adopting a parking drive through format. Students and their parents were asked to remain in their cars for this event while also wearing a mask when interacting with volunteers and staff.
