Welcome to the 100 Black Men of Madison, Inc. Web site. Our organization exists for the simple purpose of improving the quality of life and enhancing educational opportunities for youth of color, especially young African American males. We have and continue to participate in Madison-area elementary and middle schools through our mentoring programs and tackle tough issues facing the African American community such as health and wellness and educational issues and invite experts to share their knowledge about topics ranging from prostate cancer to closing the educational achievement gap between black and white students. 100 Black Men of Madison, Inc. sponsors annual events like the African American History Challenge Bowl, Annual Golf Outing, Back-to-school picnic and the 100 Gala, all of which are organized by dedicated committee chairs and members. I want to take this opportunity to thank each one for thinking outside of the box and for their commitment to the general mission of our Chapter - for without their support and hard work, the successes we have experienced would not have happened. We are busy planning another year of events and program, and I invite you to join us, come out and encourage, cheer on and support our youth. Finally, but certainly not least, I want to thank our sponsors, contributors and volunteers for their support in helping us get our programs and projects to our community's youth. |
